The 11th Myanmar Lethwei World Championship (MLWC-11) concluded on August 9 at Thein Phyu Myanmar Traditional Lethwei Stadium in Yangon, with five of the six bouts ending in draws.
The event featured six matchups across five weight classes, including four championship bouts. Naing Win Tun (Nine Lethwei) was the only fighter to claim a victory, stopping Gabar Shar (Zar Htet Meiktila) by referee stoppage in the fourth round.
Daung Mike Thway and Saw Ruby Draw
The opening bout saw Daung Mike Thway (Nine Lethwei) face Saw Ruby (YMA) in a four-round contest at 53 kg.
The two fighters completed all four scheduled rounds with the bout ending in a draw.
Aung Ko Lat and Saw Htein Lin Draw
At 65 kg, Aung Ko Lat (Ray) faced Saw Htein Lin (555 Sports) in the second bout of the card.

Salai Htan Kwi Shein and Hein Tun Aung Draw
The third bout featured Salai Htan Kwi Shein (Kyar Ma Naing) against Hein Tun Aung (Khay Yoo War) at 56 kg.

Ae Mwi and Thant Zin Draw
The fourth bout of the event featured Ae Mwi (Eh Ka Nyaw) against Thant Zin (Python Taw Win Ayar) at 60 kg.

Naing Win Tun Stops Gabar Shar
The 67 kg co-main event produced the only bout of the night to have a winner.
Naing Win Tun (Nine Lethwei) faced Gabar Shar (Zar Htet Meiktila) in a five-round contest. The referee stopped the bout at 2 minutes and 30 seconds of the fourth round, awarding Naing Win Tun the victory.
Tun Min Aung and Yar Man Draw in the Main Event
The main event brought together Tun Min Aung (Top One) and Yar Man (Yoe Yar Swan Arr) at 75 kg.
The two fighters went the full five rounds before the bout was declared a draw.

Another Chapter in the MLWC Series
MLWC, first held in 2016, has become a recurring stage for championship-level Lethwei, bringing together leading fighters from Myanmar and abroad over its first decade. MLWC-11 now joins that history as the series’ eleventh edition, with five of its six bouts ending in draws, and Naing Win Tun’s referee-stoppage victory over Gabar Shar.
